Paul and his wife, Laura, opened Ace Handyman Services in April 2014 with the goals of providing the very best service and craftsmanship to residential and commercial customers in central Ohio. Together they have worked hard to grow their business while maintaining their company core values.
Paul grew up in Indiana and attended Purdue University where he graduated with a B.S. in horticulture and business. Prior to starting Ace Handyman Services, Paul was a regional sales manager and researcher for the largest flower breeding company in the world. Having always enjoyed home improvement, Paul felt that an Ace Handyman Services business would be challenging way to utilize his prior career skillsets while providing a great service to the local communities. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, hiking, biking, and being the family's handyman.
Prior to starting Ace Handyman Services, Laura had many careers including teaching and coaching. She attended Purdue University and earned a B.A. in History and English and a M.A. in History. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, running, and being active.
Senior Office Manager
Michelle has been with Ace Handyman Services since the Hammer's opened the Pickerington location in November 2017. As that office manager, she quickly proved her dedication, commitment, leadership, and passion for the success of her office and as well as the larger Ace Handyman Services Columbus organization. She was promoted to Senior Office Manager in October 2022, and oversees and supports all the Columbus locations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, or just relaxing.
Customer Service Representative
Rachel has been with Ace Handyman Services since 2017. As one of our customer service representatives she strives to ensure every customers complete satisfaction. Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, working out, and cooking.
Don has been with Ace Handyman Services Northeast Columbus since 2014 and has been the company's field supervisor since 2016. He is passionate about home repair and improvement, and has been in the trades for over 30 years. Don is an Air Force veteran and outside of work enjoys volunteering for camp and home projects.
Keith began with Ace Handyman Services in June 2019 and worked until December 2020 when he lost a long and difficult battle with COVID-19. He was a highly skilled tradesman and came to work every day with a servant's heart. He was a gentle and kind soul who always sought to delight customers with his work. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and was an active member of his church. He will always be part of our Ace Handyman Services team.
John joined Ace Handyman Services in July 2022. He first got into the trades right out of high school doing drywall work at a ski report. Despite years in the trades, and growing his skills, he still likes drywall best. He enjoys the challenge of making it look like damage never occurred. In addition to drywall, his second love is carpentry and you can tell that from the amazing work he does. John best likes being able to work independently, yet knowing he has a strong team and office that supports him and he can lean on. He also enjoys the family work environment at AHS. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, especially volleyball which he has been coaching for decades.
Gabe joined Ace Handyman Services in May 2022. He is a recent graduate of Westerville North High School where he was a standout and accomplished swimmer. He first got into the trades at fifteen, and spent his high school summers working various construction jobs. He most enjoys painting and drywall work, and is looking to continue to grow his skills and trades knowledge. At Ace, he most enjoys working with other team members on larger repair and remodeling projects, and the family like atmosphere. Outside of work, Gabe enjoys swimming, working out at the gym, and hanging out with friends.
