This porch was heavily damaged from a devestating flood that occured in 2011. We complete;ly rebuilt the floor framing and installed new concrete footings and support columns. We installed all new Douglas Fir tongue and groove porch flooring, applied one coat of primer to all sides of the flooring and two coats of Sherwin Williams Porch and Floor Enamel paint. We installed PVC fascia trim boards around the perimeter of the floor framing, PVC lattice skirting around the perimetr of the porch and PVC trrim boards around the lattice.

We applied two coats of Sherwin Williams paint to the ceiling, soffit and walls.

We removed the water damaged drywall on the Dining Room ceiling and loaded it into our dumpster for disposal. We installed framing to create a soffit around the Dining Room, installed electrical wiring, light switches, recessed lights and new drywall. We finished the drywall and painted the ceiling, soffit and walls with Sherwin Williams paint. The soffit seperates the Dining Room from the Kitchen and Living Room while still being open.

Our Craftsman Dave C built new pressure treated deck steps from the customers existing deck to the new pool.
Ace Handyman Services Wilkes-Barre and Scranton removed the existing porch flooring and framing. We installed new pressure treated floor framing and new Douglas Fir tongue and groove porch flooring. We applied one coat of exterior primer to all sides of the new porch flooring and two coats of Sherwin Williams porch and floor exterior paint to the exposed faces of the newly installed porch flooring.
We removed the existing deteriorated roof support columns and the wood flooring. Our Craftsmen Dave B and Bob installed new tongue and groove Douglas Fir porch flooring and new support columns. The flooring was painted with (3) coats of Sherwin Williams Porch and Floor Enamel paint. We also painted the roof support beam, wrapped band joist with aluminum and reinstalled the existing railing.

Our lead Craftsman Dave C removed the existing deteriorated columns and railings and replaced them with new vinyl load bearing columns, railings and newel posts.

The project included installing a concrete masonry foundation, floor framing, exterior wall framing, roof framing, installation of windows, installation of Frenchn Exterior Door, asphalt single roofing, vinyl siding, fascia, soffit and gutters.

His clothes were taking much longer than usual to dry and the vent door on the exterior vent hood was not opening when the dryer was running. These are two indications your vent is blocked. We installed fiberglass batt insulation with baffles to maintain air flow between existing roof rafters, recessed lights, new drywall, painted the walls and ceiling, baseboard and door and window trim and prefinished bamboo hardwood flooring.

Our Lead Craftsman Dave C constructed new deck stairs with 2 x 12 pressure treated stringers, doubled 1 x 6 composite deck boards as treads and 1 x 8 composite trim boards as risers. Dave also mitered the ends of the treads to create a finished edge. Our customer is very happy with the results.
PVC Handrail Installation in Forty Fort
We installed new PVC handrails along exterior steps for one of our long time customers in Forty Fort. We installed structural newel posts secured to the concrete sidewalks at the top and bottom of the steps with Red Head concrete anchors, installed PVC sleeves over the posts, installed base trim and cap trim and installed PVC stair rails secured to the newel posts with stair rail kits as required.

Our Lead Craftsman Dave C and Craftsman Apprentice Logan C removed the existing deteriorated wooden door and framing, reframed the opening with pressure treated lumber and installed a new special order Bilco Basement Door. Dave set the door frame on a bead of silicone caulk and also applied it to all of the joints as required. The home owner will paint the framing and the door.

He constructed the deck with concrete footings, (6) 6 x 6 support columns, (2) doubled 2 x 8 beams, 2 x 8 floor joists, 2 x 6 decking, 4 x 4 newel posts, 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 railings and 2 x 2 balusters. He also installed PVC privacy lattice with PVC trim boards around the bottom.

Our lead Craftsman Dave C repaired fascia trim on the gable end of a roof on a commercial building that was damaged by a tornado on June 13, 2018. He had to remove the damaged and twisted fascia trim and replace it with new aluminum. He used a scissors lift due to the height.

He also picture framed the perimeter of the ramp eliminating the exposed unfinished profile of the boards creating a finished edge. We used RDI vinyl deck railings, balusters and newel posts. Dave also installed fascia trim boards over the perimeter band joists to create a finished look.

Our Craftsman Bernie S constructed a Cedar Closet for one of our long time customers. Bernie installed new drywall over the existing wall studs and roof rafters, applied drywall tape to all joints, (2) coats of lightweight joint compound, sanded the spackle smooth and cleaned up the dust. He installed cedar tongue and groove planks over the newly installed and finished drywall. He also installed bamboo hardwood tongue and groove flooring and 3 1/4" baseboard.

We applied KILZ Premium primer and Sherwin Williams paint to all newly installed drywall. Our ;ead Craftsman Dave C installed 1 x 6 primed pine trim boards as jambs around by-pass door opening, 2 1/4" colonial casing around the opening and 3 1/4" colonial baseboard around the base of the wals. He applied two coats of Sherwin Williams semi-gloss paint to the newly installed trim work. Dave also installed a new by-passing door and painted it with Sherwin Williams semi-gloss paint.
