Matthew Garrett

Matt Garrett is what used to be known as a Jack of All Trades, however, unlike most people who earn that title, Matt is a master of one. He is a Master Cabinetmaker and has spent the majority of his 30-year career fabricating and installing custom cabinetry and mill work items for use in homes, private mansions, yachts, restaurants and hotels all over the country. Entering the building trades as a young man, Matt has firsthand knowledge of all the major construction disciplines including carpentry, flooring, electric and plumbing. He has worked on projects ranging from residential remodeling to a billion-dollar hospital in downtown Chicago. In 1983, Matt opened his own cabinet shop in Wheaton, Illinois serving primarily homeowners in DuPage County.
Matt has opened Ace Handyman Services DuPage to once again serve the community in which he has lived for 35 years, and his wife Becky's home since her childhood. The Garrett family home served to raise two children despite its original tiny Cape Cod style floor plan. The house has grown over the years thanks to Matt's broad skillset and long-term relationships with other equally skilled trades people from DuPage County. Over the years, the Garrett family garage became a place where neighbors knew they could come for help or advice fixing something in their home or to borrow a tool to handle the repair themselves. As owner of Ace Handyman Services DuPage, Matt and his team will bring that same helpful approach to customers throughout DuPage County who need to get something done on their property.

Ty Williams joined the Ace Handyman Service of DuPage team in June of 2021, Ty gathered a plethora of skills working in his family's contracting business, that help make him the skilled craftsman that he is today. Ty grew up in Peoria Illinois and attended University of Illinois in nearby Champaign, where he ultimately earned his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering. Ty performs his work with diligence and dedication while maintaining and friendly and personable disposition. He also loves dogs and will be happy to greet and get to know your best friend when he arrives. These are just a few of the many traits that make him a valuable member of our Ace Handyman Services DuPage team.
