Jerris and his family moved to Champaign in 2008 where he spent twelve years leading a local church. In 2016 Jerris began branching out into business coaching/consulting helping business owners and leaders become better leaders and build profitable companies. In January 2023, Jerris wrote down the goal to buy or own a business in the area that would offer people a livable wage and not cost them evenings and weekends and Ace Handyman Services is that business. He looks forward to helping people in the region have quality and trusted service as we bring helpful to each home.
Lisa C
Office Manager
Lisa is a true 'Townie', born and raised in Urbana. She met her husband Andy at Amdocs, where they both worked, and married in 2001. They have two sons, Nicholas and Garrett and two dogs, Gabby and Saint. Lisa's work history boasts an Entrepreneural Side, co-creating Frogs & Fairies, a Childrens' Resale Boutique that was located at The Pines in Urbana, and then a second location in Bloomington, Illinois. If you ever shopped there, the pictures on the Boys (Frogs) side were her own. During that time, Lisa was an active board member of the Urbana Business Association. In 2015, she bought Divine Consign of Illinois, a Semi-Annual Resale Event for Women, which is currently and will continue to be held at The City Center twice a year. Fun Fact: Divine Consign was once held at a church which is where Lisa first met Jerris. Lisa has always been an advocate for Champaign Urbana and is excited to be a part of bringing Ace Handyman Services into our community, as well as into her own home.

Originally from a big family with six siblings, I moved to Champaign in 2010 and have proudly called it home ever since. After spending the last 10 years in the healthcare industry, I made a bold career shift and joined the team at Ace Handyman Services and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. What drew me in was Jerris and Lisa’s heart-led mission. Their passion for helping others is not only inspiring, it’s contagious. They’ve built something truly special here: a company that values integrity, compassion, and doing the right thing for every customer, every time. This community has long needed a trustworthy, dependable home services company and that’s exactly what Ace Handyman Services delivers. I'm proud to be part of a team that treats people like neighbors, not numbers. When I’m not in the office, you can find me hanging out with my two furr babies, Scottie and Ella!

Austin was born and raised in St. Joseph, IL. This is where he met his wife, Lexi and they have since dropped their roots and started their family with the addition of their daughter. Austin comes from a strong background in construction and hospitality. His strengths in construction knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service will help him shine bright with us. Scott
Craftsman
Scott has over 27 years of retail management working for Farm & Fleet, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware. He’s been a landlord for the past 30 years and worked as a Maintenace Supervisor for the last 18 years. Scott enjoys a good Netflix binge, camping and riding ATVs, and hanging out with friends and family. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything he does, both professionally and personally.
Dalton
Craftsman
Born and raised in Mt. Zion, Dalton has always had a passion for music and working with his hands. Dalton has had a variety of experience in the handyman field, which has allowed him to sharpen his skills in many areas. When he's not completing home projects, you can find him being a member of a successful band, or ensemble in the Decatur area.
Sean

Born and raised in the C-U area, Sean has over 24 years of experience in the local construction industry. Sean is excited for the opportunity to join the Ace team to use his knowledge of the trades to help the local community. When not working Sean spends his time with his beautiful wife, three kids, two dogs, six cats, two horses, and nine chickens.

With 29 years of professional construction experience, Jamie bring hands-on skill, a strong work ethic, and pride in doing quality work the right way. Rooted in the Midwest and having worked on projects across the United States, he has built his career through leadership in the industry and commitment to honest work, lasting relationships, and helping others. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of life’s everyday moments.
