I started Ace Handyman Services Harrisburg with my Father, Bob McRedmond, in May of 2004. I've had a long standing interest and passion for architecture, interior design, and home improvements that included working on remodeling projects with my Dad, a drive for excellent customer service, and a desire to have my own business since high school. I am a 1990 graduate of Central Dauphin and received my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design (with an additional 3 years spent in Interior Design) from Drexel University in 1997. My history includes design positions with Macy's, Tower Records, Aetna, University of Pennsylvania and a few Advertising Agencies in the Philadelphia area. I am married, with one child. My husband and I own Harrisburg, Lancaster & York together since July 2019. Other interests include painting (canvas and walls) & photography, reading, traveling, volunteering with ourson's PTO and other organizations, I'm an 18+ years Bikram Yoga Teacher, member of the Swatara Chapter of PRE, and member of Master Networks of South Central PA.

Owner
Bill worked with Ace Handyman Services for a few years back in 2011. In 2019, he returned when he and Erin added the Lancaster & York area. Most of his career has been in the automotive industry, ranging from small shops to big box locations. His passions include a love for exceptional customer service, training and development of teams, planning and implementing systems, processes, and efficiencies, home and auto repair and improvements, finding cool places to explore, and being with his family.
Mike W.
Field Supervisor
With decades of experience in the construction industry, Mike began his career as a junior in high school back in 1987 and has worked in the field ever since. He first joined Ace Handyman Services as a Craftsman, where his dedication and skill quickly stood out. After proving himself in the field, he transitioned into his current role as Field Supervisor, where he continues to lead with expertise and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
What Mike enjoys most about Ace Handyman Services is the family atmosphere created by the company’s owners and the variety of work that keeps every day interesting. Outside of work, he spends much of his time outdoors fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, often traveling to other states to explore new waters. A creative at heart, he also enjoys painting and designing custom fishing lures, especially when he catches a fish with one of his own creations.
Rose S.
TEAM Coordinator
Rose came to us from the hotel industry as a former manager in the Elizbethtown area where she helped complete a 2 year construction renovation with an addition. She lives in Mt. Joy with her boyfriend of 15 years. They have two turtles, Bob is 40, and Babe is 13! She loves crafting, scrapbooking, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Crystal G.
TEAM Coordinator
Crystal is a native of Lancaster County. With over 25 years’ experience in customer service, she brings to us her drive to meet and maintain customer satisfaction and the ability to solve complex issues. Before coming on board with Ace Handyman Services, she was a Sales Assistant with a local landscaping company in Central PA.
Outside of work, she likes spending time with friends, family, and her two cats Finnegan and Lily. She also enjoys thrift shopping, baking, and an occasional home DIY improvement.
Tara L.
TEAM Coordinator
Tara came to us from the restoration and remediation industry with two years as an Office Administrator in the Harrisburg area. Tara has prior office and accounting experience in commercial HVAC and grew up in a family-operated commercial roofing company in New Jersey.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She is passionate about dogs, particularly her chocolate Labrador puppy Finnegan Patrick. When time permits, she enjoys cooking and being creative in the kitchen, trying new recipes.
Jamie B.
Customer Service Representative
Jamie brings over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry, with more than half of her career spent in the automotive repair field as a service writer. Her background has helped her develop strong communication skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her daughter and her two dogs. She has a passion for bowling, enjoys collecting unique items, and has a special appreciation for sunflowers.
Prakash B.
Marketing Support
Since joining the team through his school’s cooperative education program in July 2025, Prakash has brought renewed enthusiasm and an innovative spirit to the marketing department. A student of Dauphin County Technical School’s Web Development & Design program, he has been pivotal in supporting SEO efforts on our website and creating engaging content for our social media platforms. Apart from work, Prakash enjoys playing volleyball and soccer with his friends.
Dan B.
Senior Craftsman
Dan has been with AHS since February 2020. He comes to us with a background in mitigation and restoration. Dan lives in Marysville and enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loves spending time with his girlfriend and two precious pups.
Ed C.
Craftsman
Ed has been with AHS since 2022. He grew up in Delaware County, PA, and currently resides in Enola. He has an 18 year old daughter, a dog, a cat, some fish, and 6 chickens. He has worked for 2 General Contractors prior to his position with us. He is a great all-around Handyman. He loves to play the drums, go fishing, kayaking, and camping.
Shane M.
Craftsman
Born and raised in Harrisburg, Shane has been an electrician since the age of 17 and has gained experience in a variety of construction-related work over the years. He discovered Ace Handyman Services by chance when he drove by the office and decided to give them a call. After meeting with Bill for an interview, he joined the team and has been contributing his skills ever since.
Shane enjoys the sense of community at Ace Handyman, appreciating the family-oriented atmosphere and the variety of projects that keep every day interesting. Outside of work, he likes playing drums, spending time with his kids, and playing video games.
Magnus F.
Craftsman
Magnus joined the team through our partnership with Dauphin County Technical School and quickly proved himself as a dedicated and hardworking member of the crew. A recent graduate of the school’s Building Construction program, he gained hands-on experience working alongside our skilled craftsmen—and after graduation, he chose to stay on with Ace to continue growing in the trades.
Magnus brings a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude to every job site. We’re proud to support the next generation of trades professionals, and Magnus is a standout example of the talent and potential coming out of DCTS.
Corey P.
Craftsman
Corey brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the trades, with a well-rounded skill set that includes carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and general home maintenance. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a reliable and professional craftsman who takes pride in every project he completes. Corey is known for being friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, always taking the time to ensure each job is done right and that customers feel confident in the work being performed.
Outside of work, Corey enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and their two husky dogs. He has a passion for the outdoors and spends much of his free time hunting and fishing. When he gets the chance, he also enjoys traveling to Fenwick Island, Delaware, where he can relax and make lasting memories with his family.
Josh H.
Craftsman
Josh brings 2.5 years of experience in the trades, with a focus on smaller home improvement projects such as flooring installation, light and faucet replacements, and occasional drywall work. He takes pride in delivering quality results and approaches each task with attention to detail and care.
Customers can expect Josh to arrive on time, ready to work, and with a positive attitude. He enjoys connecting with customers through friendly conversation before and after completing each job, helping create a comfortable and welcoming experience. Outside of work, Josh stays active by playing and coaching volleyball. He is also involved as a leader in a youth ministry organization, Trail Life USA, where he enjoys mentoring and supporting others. In his free time, Josh is an animal lover who enjoys spending time with his three cats and his dog.

Goldie wandered into our lives in July 2020. We spend a fair amount of time letting her in and out all day long but she's worth it. She brings lots of laughter and joy to the office and TEAM. We are happy to report she has officialy moved in with the Woods Family.
Floofernutter

Floof is also a TNR stray that we convinced to move in during the coldest nights of Winter 2022. He can be super skiddish and the biggest cuddley lover, all at the same time. He is the floofiest Floof to ever floof. We adore him. Update 3/2024: We are happy to report that he has also moved in with the Woods Family!
