Fernandes Ace Handyman Services. As the youngest of three children born to Manuel and Minnie Fernandes, who founded Fernandes Lumber in 1958, Ken has always had a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. He took over the business full time in 1986, after spending several years as a schoolteacher and principal for the town of Norton.
Apart from being an accomplished businessman, Ken is also an engaged member of his community. He has coached for both Easton youth baseball and the basketball team for Holy Cross Church. As well as served as the president of Easton Babe Ruth League. Ken has also dedicated over thirteen years to chairing FEEE (Foundation for Excellence in Education in Easton), where he raised funds for technology for Easton Public Schools. He is an active member of the Easton Chamber of Commerce and currently chairs the board of the Bank of Easton.
Ken has been happily married to his wife Linda for over 35 years, and together, they have two children, Jennifer married to Kevin O’Neill and Brian married to his wife Amy, along with two beautiful grandchildren. In his free time, Ken loves to do jigsaw puzzles, play golf, and spend time with his family. With his commitment to excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction, it's no surprise that Ken's businesses have become a pillar in the community.
