Daniel Hopkins
General Manager
Hello, my name is Daniel Hopkins. I'm originally from Middle Tennessee, but I got to Texas as fast as I could — that was in the fall of 2022. I completed my bachelor's at the University of Texas at Austin, and after walking on at commencement, I started this amazing career as the operations manager for Ace Handyman Services in Central Texas.
It's my goal to lift others up around me, set them up for success, and provide the best support for my craftsmen and the best customer service possible for a home service company. The best and most important thing about me, is my faith and my beautiful wife, Taylor.
Fun fact about me: I got my bachelor's in music and enjoy playing the guitar and singing — you might even catch me performing around the Hill Country on the weekends.
Luciano Mendez
Craftsman
My name is Luciano, and I'm someone who strives for perfection in everything I do. I'm happy, outgoing, and I love leaving people with a smile on their face. Working with Ace Handyman gives me the chance to keep improving and showing off my skills, and the best part of the job for me is the customer service — seeing customers satisfied is what it's all about.
A fun fact about me: I'm originally from Central Texas, and I've got real experience working with horses. So if you ever want to talk horses, I'm your guy!
Ernesto Leon
Craftsman
Ace Handyman is a close-knit team that genuinely cares about the well-being of our clients. We pay attention to every detail to make sure we deliver maximum satisfaction, and we give the best of ourselves on every project. More than a company, we're a family — focused on the needs of each client and making sure any problem has a solution.
On a personal note, I'm originally from Cuba. One of the most memorable experiences of my life was walking through the jungles of South America on my journey to the US. Through it all, my family has always been my biggest motivation — I love them more than anything.
Yolanda D
Office Manager
For the majority of my 30+ year career, I have been a part of the Breed and Co. / Ace Hardware team in Austin, TX and have had held various roles during my tenure. Some of the roles that I have had that make me a perfect fit as Office Manager for this Ace Handyman Services NW Austin-Cedar Park include customer service, Information Technology, and leadership. As Ace Handyman Services NW Austin-Cedar Park was being formed, my specific set of skills were needed in order to achieve the company mission. Though I thoroughly enjoy my work and the people I have a chance to work with each day, I do have a life outside of Ace Handyman Services. When I am not working, I enjoy going to the gym, watching movies, reading books, and catching up with friends and family.
