I owned and operated a successful construction site safety management company in New York City for 20 years. I worked on multi-million dollar residential and commercial high rise construction projects from foundation through completion. I started this company as a young father-to-be after seeing sonogram pictures of my daughter. My daughter is now in college on the Women's Rugby Team studying to be a special education teacher. My wife Micaela, a social worker and I also have twin 15 year old sons - one a talented basketball player, the other an accomplished Irish step dancer. We have a two German shepherds, Nemo and Maple. I have been fortunate in my lifetime to be a Girl Scout dad and a Cub Scout leader. I created and managed a youth basketball program called the American Legion Patriots sponsored by Admiral Farragut American Legion Post 1195. My children had a profound sense of pride being involved with the program coaching younger players, playing in a competitive league and honoring their veteran sponsors. My wife and I have instilled the values of community service into our children. Owning and operating a local handyman business represents more than just a lucrative opportunity and the means to afford a comfortable life. This endeavor embodies the legacy I hope to leave my children – the importance and satisfaction one derives from hard work, family commitment and community involvement.

My name is Pete DeCuyper (pronounced Dee-ki-per). I've been working in various trade skills for over 13 years. I enjoy carpentry, electrical, and painting. In my spare time I repurpose wood to create fun builds at home and for others. I have lived in the area for 20 years.

My name is John and I have been in the general construction industry for 25+ years, starting out under my father's guidance including partnering in a family business for the better part of a decade. We have seen and done quite an assortment of large and small projects over the years. This industry is my calling, as I have dedicated my life to it. I also build and create custom carpentry and woodworking for fun at home (it's a lifestyle). One of the things I am most proud of has been my relationships with clients through the years! They have quite literally become friends and the relationships last to this day. So I'm excited to bring my talents and service to the TEAM at Ace Handyman Services and I look forward to creating more happy and satisfied clients in the future!
