Paul Hammer
Owner/President
Paul and his wife, Laura, launched Ace Handyman Services in April 2014 with a mission to deliver top-notch service and craftsmanship to residential and commercial clients throughout central Ohio. The couple has diligently grown their business while upholding the core values of their company. Paul, originally from Indiana, earned a B.S. in horticulture and business from Purdue University. Before founding Ace Handyman Services, he worked as a regional sales manager and researcher for the world’s largest flower breeding company. With a passion for home improvement, Paul saw Ace Handyman Services as a way to combine his previous professional skills with a meaningful service to the community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, hiking, and riding his bike.
Laura Hammer
Owner/Vice President
Before co-founding Ace Handyman Services with her husband, Laura had a diverse career background that included teaching, academic advising, and coaching at the collegiate level. She holds a B.A. in History and English and an M.A. in History from Purdue University. In her free time, Laura enjoys being with her family, biking, running, and staying active.
Rachel S.
Office Manager
Rachel has been with Ace Handyman Services since 2017 and has played a vital role in the success of the Westerville office. As office manager, she is dedicated to ensuring complete customer satisfaction while supporting the success of her craftsmen. Over the past seven years, Rachel’s contributions have been instrumental in driving the office’s growth and efficiency. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, working out, and cooking.
Andrea A.
Commercial Division Office Manger Servicing Central Ohio
Andrea joined Ace Handyman Services in January 2021 as our Southeast Columbus Office Manager. A 2019 graduate of Otterbein University with a degree in Public Relations, she entered the trades industry with minimal experience—but quickly proved herself to be a fast learner, a dedicated team player, and an invaluable asset to our operations.
In early 2025, Andrea transitioned into a leadership role heading our Commercial Division, where she now oversees services for clients across all of Central Ohio. Her ability to adapt, lead, and build strong relationships continues to drive our commercial growth and client satisfaction.
Andrea thrives on the daily learning opportunities her role provides and values the support of her coworkers, as well as the chance to help customers bring their projects to life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs.
Don I.
Field Supervisor
Don has been with Ace Handyman Services since 2014 and has held the role of field supervisor since 2016. With over 30 years of experience in the trades, he brings a deep passion for home repair and improvement to his work. An Air Force veteran, Don also dedicates his time outside of work to volunteering for camp and home projects.
Tim M.
Field Supervisor
Tim joined Ace Handyman Services in September 2020 as a master craftsman, bringing with him over two decades of experience in the trades. He holds an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University. In Summer 2026, Tim was promoted to field supervisor, where he now leads the large project division. When he's not working, you can find him fishing or flying drones.
Chris W.
Craftsman
Chris W. joined Ace Handyman Services in the spring of 2023 and brings a passion for all aspects of the trades, especially carpentry. He thrives in the positive work environment at Ace and enjoys learning new skills from his colleagues. When not working, you can find him restoring the house he recently purchased.
Brian P.
Craftsman
Brian P. joined Ace Handyman Services in April 2025, bringing with him a lifelong connection to the trades. He developed his passion early on by shadowing his father, who worked in construction, and that hands-on experience sparked a deep appreciation for skilled craftsmanship.
Brian enjoys working across all aspects of home improvement, but he has a particular passion for flooring, painting, and tile work. What he values most about being part of the Ace Handyman Services team is the genuine camaraderie—a workplace where everyone is friendly, supportive, and truly committed to both each other and the customers they serve.
When he's not on the job, you’ll find Brian enjoying quality time with his family and kids, or casting a line and relaxing with a good day of fishing.
Cody B.
Craftsman
Cody B. joined Ace Handyman Services in the summer of 2026, bringing nearly a decade of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and carpentry. He first entered the trades in 2016 while remodeling his own homes and later expanded his expertise working for a custom remodeling and barndominium company, where he developed skills across a wide range of home improvement projects.
Carpentry is Cody's favorite trade because it combines creativity, craftsmanship, and precision. He enjoys building projects that homeowners can appreciate for years to come, and he takes pride in delivering quality workmanship on every job.
What Cody enjoys most about working at Ace Handyman Services is that every day presents a new challenge and another opportunity to help customrs improve their homes. Whether it's a small repair or a larger remodeling project, he is committed to treating every customer with respect while continually expanding his skills and knowledge.
When he's not at work, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Family is at the center of his life, and he also enjoys tackling home improvement projects of his own and spending time outdoors.
