How pricing works
We're time-and-material based. We estimate the labor scope over the phone, share our hourly rate before scheduling, and bill for the actual time the work takes plus materials. No flat-rate buffer, no surprise meter.
For materials, you have two options:
- You supply the materials. Bring your own preferred brands. Materials you supply aren't covered by our 12-month workmanship warranty.
- We source the materials. Materials we provide are covered under the same workmanship warranty as our labor. Our sourcing and handling are included in the materials line on your invoice.
Either way, materials are charged separately from labor. Your phone estimate covers labor scope; materials are itemized as the project unfolds, since some needs aren't visible until work begins.

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Phone estimates are free and don't require an in-home visit. Tell us what you need done; we'll give you the labor rate, likely time range, and materials options. For larger or more complex projects, we may capture photos and measurements during a smaller on-site visit to provide a more accurate estimate without a separate quote trip.
How quickly can you schedule service?
Most non-emergency projects schedule within 2-7 business days. Same-day or next-day response is available for storm damage, broken doors, security issues, and other urgent items when our schedule allows.
Do you handle small jobs or do you have a minimum?
We handle jobs of all sizes from one-hour repairs to multi-week remodels. There is a 1-hour minimum on most projects. Many homeowners batch several small projects into a single visit, that's usually the best value, since you only pay one minimum.
Are your craftsmen employees or subcontractors?
Our craftsmen are W-2 employees, not subcontractors. They're background-checked, insured, in branded uniforms and vehicles. The same craftsman can come back for future projects.t.
What kinds of projects don't you take?
We don't handle: new home construction, full additions requiring engineering review, septic system work, HVAC system installation, roof replacement (we do repairs), and most permitted structural work. If your project requires a general contractor, building permit, or specialized trade license beyond standard handyman scope, we'll let you know during your phone estimate and refer you to a specialist.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. For qualifying projects, typically those running $2,000 or more we offer financing including 0% interest for 6 months and low monthly payment options. Mention financing when you call for your phone estimate and we'll walk you through what's available.
What if something goes wrong with your work after the job is done?
Workmanship is covered under a 12-month warranty. If anything related to the work we performed develops a problem within 12 months, we come back and fix it at no charge. Materials we supplied are also covered. Materials you supplied yourself aren't included in the warranty.
