Services we provide across the Triangle
We're a true full-service handyman company. Our craftsmen handle everything from quick fixes such as a leaky faucet, a sticking door, or a TV that needs mounting to multi-day renovations like full kitchen or bathroom updates. Here's what we've actually completed since opening in April 2022:
Drywall & ceilings, over 1,000 projects completed
Holes, water damage, full-room finishes, ceiling crack repair, and popcorn ceiling removal common in older Raleigh and Cary homes built between 1960 and 1980. → Drywall services
"Eric Bingman is a true professional! We had multiple drywall holes in need of repair and he did a great job patching them as well as priming the wall for paint for us. He also repaired our door trim that got damaged during move in. You can't tell there was even any damage! We would definitely request his services again as he was efficient and friendly. While the services were pricey, the quality of work matched the rates. Thanks Eric." - Rachel, Holly Springs, NC
Doors & windows, over 1,000 door projects completed
Sticking doors, replacement installs, weatherstripping, hardware. North Carolina's humidity expands and contracts wooden doors throughout the year, so we see a lot of fit issues that are about the frame, not the door itself. → Door services · Window services
Decks & outdoor structures, several hundred projects completed
Board replacement, railing repair, restaining, full deck restoration, and wood rot repair. Triangle decks take a beating from sun, high humidity, pollen, and summer storms, most need real attention every 3-5 years. → Deck services

"Exceptional Deck Restoration by Justin and David! We recently hired Ace Handyman Service to tackle a major restoration project on our aging deck, and the results have exceeded all expectations. We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation, and we owe a massive thank you to the team, especially Justin and David, who handled the bulk of the work. From the initial assessment to the final application of the stain, their professionalism was outstanding. They were punctual, kept us informed at every step, and maintained a clean work area daily. The Work Quality: The deck was in rough shape, requiring significant repair, sanding, and refinishing. Justin and David meticulously addressed every structural issue, replacing damaged boards and ensuring everything was sound and safe. The cleanup was done very fast and well. Also they finished under the estimated price." - Derick R., Raleigh, NC
TV mounting & home theater, several hundred installs
On drywall, brick, stone, interior and exterior, with proper anchoring, cable management, and the right mount for your screen weight. → TV mounting
Kitchen renovations, dozens completed
Cabinet refreshes, countertop installs, backsplash installation and repair, fixture upgrades, and full kitchen updates for Triangle homes. → Kitchen remodeling

Bathroom renovations, dozens completed
Tile, vanities, fixtures, tub inserts, and accessibility modifications including walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions. → Bathroom remodeling

Wood rot repair, a North Carolina specialty
Humidity, hurricane debris, and termite-prone wood mean rot is common around door frames, window sills, fascia boards, and deck posts. We replace the damaged wood properly, not just paint over it. → Wood rot repair
"I hired Ace to replace my front steps, which were rotten. They provided excellent service! Noe C. arrived on time, reviewed the job with me, and answered questions before the job began. He was friendly and outgoing. He took his time with the job, showed me wood rot under the stair treads, and was able to stay additional hours to take care of the additional rot. He did an excellent job replacing my stairs, with great attention to craftsmanship. He cleaned up the job site after like no one was ever here. I have additional work I need to have done and will hire Ace (and Noe) to come out again. Very pleased with the service!" - Dana, Raleigh, NC
Aging-in-place modifications
Grab bars, ramps, wider doorways, walk-in showers. Professional installation that meets ADA spacing and stud-anchoring requirements, not just drywall anchors that pull out. → Accessibility services
And the rest
Pressure washing, gutter cleaning and repair, painting, fence and railing repair, smart-lock installation, fixtures, holiday lighting, shelving, hanging, mounting. If it's a home repair project, we probably do it.

Why Triangle homeowners pick Ace Handyman
Our craftsmen are employees, not subcontractors
Every craftsman on our team is W-2 employed, background-checked, and insured. No surprise faces showing up at your door, no liability gaps between contractor and homeowner.
Real warranties, not fine print
Every job we complete comes with a 12-month workmanship warranty. If something we did fails within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That commitment is part of why we've earned 4.9 stars across 1,388+ Google reviews.
Transparent time-and-material pricing
You pay for the time the job actually takes, not an inflated flat-rate that bakes in a "just in case" buffer. We estimate the scope over the phone, give you the rate up front, and bill for actual hours worked plus materials.
We show up when we say
We arrive on time, in branded vehicles and clean uniforms. No "between 8 and 5" appointments that take your whole day.
One call handles it all
Most homeowners juggle 3-5 different trades for a typical project list. We bundle the work, drywall, paint, doors, hardware, fixture installs into one visit, one craftsman, one invoice.
How it works
1. Call or book online. Tell us what you need fixed, replaced, or installed. Share your full list, the doors that stick, the deck that needs work, the kitchen project you've been thinking about.
2. We estimate over the phone. Based on what you describe, we tell you the hourly rate, when we can get out there, and roughly how long the work should take. You know what to budget before a craftsman is ever on your property.
3. A craftsman arrives on time. Marked vehicle, uniform, the right tools. Most projects finish same-day.
4. You're billed for actual time plus materials. Not flat-rate with padding, but hourly in 15-minute incriments after our 1-hour minimum. The time the work actually takes, at the rate we quoted on the phone.
5. Got a bigger project on your list? While we're already on-site, ask the craftsman to take photos and measurements of the larger project. We'll prepare an accurate estimate from those, no extra trip, no separate quote fee, no scheduling another visit.
6. You're covered. 12-month workmanship warranty, in writing.
Built for the Triangle with local ownership and understanding.
We're not a national franchise running a generic playbook, we're a locally operated office that understands what Triangle homes actually need.
Humidity and wood rot. Door frames, window sills, soffit boards, and deck posts all rot here faster than in drier climates. The mistake we see most often: painting over rotted wood instead of replacing it. We know the difference between cosmetic damage and structural compromise.
Pollen and pressure washing. Spring pollen blankets every horizontal surface from late March through May. Our pressure-washing service handles siding, decks, driveways, walkways, and roof edges where moss tends to set in.
Hurricane season and summer storms. From June through November, we get the wind, the water intrusion, and the falling-branch damage. We're set up for fast turnaround on storm repairs, fence sections, loose shutters, broken gutters, damaged trim.
Older Raleigh homes. Inside-the-Beltline neighborhoods like Five Points, Hayes Barton, and the Cameron Village area often have lath-and-plaster walls, original hardwoods, knob-and-tube remnants, and unique trim profiles. We treat them with the care they deserve.
Newer Triangle subdivisions. Knightdale, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Wendell Falls, Flowers Plantation, the rapidly growing areas have their own quirks: builder-grade fixtures that fail early, settling cracks in fresh drywall, deck boards that weren't sealed properly the first time, undermount sink brackets that fail. We know the patterns.
HOA-friendly work. Many newer neighborhoods (Brier Creek, Amberly, MacGregor Downs, Preston) have strict aesthetic rules. We match what's allowed and document the work properly so you don't end up with a violation letter.
