Charles M. is the owner of Ace Handyman Services Puget Sound. Charles oversees the operation and is the public face for the Ace Handyman Services Puget Sound. Charles 30+ year career has been entirely in the home services industry. He has decades of hardware retail experience and saw the need for a "Do It For Me" option and joining the Ace Handyman Services Franchise was the perfect fit. His time in the hardware industry, especially with the local Ace Retailers gives him a strong foundation and relationships in the local area.
Finding the perfect solution for a customer is Charles' passion. Listening to a customer's needs, asking the right questions and coming to the ideal personalized solution drives him. Charles believes strongly in hiring the best people because they will provide the best customer service. He enjoys teaming the right craftsman with the right job, so you get the best person for your specific project.
Charles grew up in Northern California and became a Washingtonian in 1992. He has 4 grown children that where raised in Washington. Charles and his wife Crystal along with their two dogs can be found enjoying their yard and garden or out fishing in the summer. During the fall months Charles is an avid sportsman and while he is hunting Crystal and the dogs are training to truffle hunt. If there is a U2 concert on the West Coast you are going to see Charles there. Charles and Crystal are both board members of the Stanwood-Camano Community Fair and enjoy being part of educating children and giving back to the community.
Crystal is Charles wife. Crystal is from Snohomish County. She grew up in Stanwood and Everett, graduating as a Seagull from Everett High School. Crystal is responsible for recruiting and acts as evening and weekend back up for booking jobs. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a career in IT Security. In sitting and pondering their future and having watched Charles work like crazy for someone else, when deciding their path forward it was Crystal who suggested to Charles that perhaps at this stage in life they think about opening an Ace Handyman Services franchise. While they may spend a lot of time together on their deck with a glass of wine pondering life. There is no sitting still for them. She had spent years watching how much Charles put into what he did and knew if the company was theirs that she and the dogs could spend time with him in the office instead of waiting for him to come home after 60-hour weeks. Upon moving home from Washington D.C.15 years ago Crystal spent a decade as the sole caregiver for both of her grandparents and was able to see them through their ends of life in their own home that they had built from the ground up and raised generations in, as they wished for it to be. Crystal is well aware of the stress and loneliness that comes with being a sole caregiver, maintaining a career and balancing family that offers direction and help but yet the when of the time to expect it is elusive. If only she had met Charles earlier. Opening an AHS franchise, she knew that the people who were maintaining their independence or caregivers like her could have a trusted resource to help. More than fixing the random broken thing, came the trust that was even more important than the repair.

Joe came aboard joining us as a Handyman apprentice with the desire to learn new things professionally that he can also use at home. Joe grew up in Darrington and lives there today with his wife, two children and his dog. He lives close to his brother and his family as well as his parents. Joe's family is very important to him, and he enjoys all things outdoors including time at the river and hiking. In Joe's previous experience he was an industrial painter. We look forward to watching Joe blossom and grow as he works with us.
Greg joins us with over 30 years of experience fixing, building and helping friends and family with "around the home" projects. Greg is driven by his love for helping others, problem solving and fixing things. He has been married for 24 years and his and his wife share two adult children. Greg is an outdoorsy person enjoying fishing, kayaking, working on cars and refurbishing furniture. He has some pretty epic stories about restoring old stuff he found on the side of the road, maybe even on the way to his favorite Thai restaurant for dinner. When we asked Greg what a fun tidbit about himself was, he told us "I love to help others in need, and it's very rewarding when I am able to fix and solve problems for others." Greg is some serious Ace Handyman Home Ally material.
Luke came to us with experience in plumbing, landscaping, painting, and home cleanup. He spent some time restoring log cabins. What drives him as a craftsman is working with his hands and having the will to learn more. He loves the big family he has, and when he is not eating pizza with his awesome dog Charlie he is out hiking, building RC cars, 4 wheeling, and hitting the gym. He is friendly and outgoing and hard working. He'll get the job done right the 1st time!
Michael is the jack of all trades and being a people person is highly focused on customer satisfaction. They love doing things together they hunt, go crabbing & fishing. Makes sense after living in Alaska and working on fishing boats. Michael loves to fix things that are broken. After working in his shop, he likes to relax with a good ribeye at the end of the day.
